wyoming | winter panoramics

as always, i shot some panoramics while in wyoming.

and i was happy to get some new mountains and landscapes that i haven’t shot previously.

please feel free to click on any of these images to view them larger… enjoy!

the tetons clouded in are still dynamic to me…

the reservoir outside of cody.  completely frozen, and completely beautiful.

again, just a wider view this time…

these cliffs just west of cody, heading toward the east entrance of yellowstone, were my favorite new landscape of the whole three week trip.  they were so dynamic contrasted against the flowing golden grass.

along the wind river, toward the northeast edge of the mountain range by the same name.

ah the tetons!  the clouds finally broke on the second trip through on our way down to telluride.

the tetons from the jackson lake dam, with a frozen jackson lake foreground.

flaming gorge, utah in winter.  not much snow, but even this time of year there are amazing colors.

state fair of texas | pictures

i have had the pleasure of working on a project this year to honor the 125 anniversary of the state fair of texas.

we’re not exactly sure what the final outcome of this project will be… exhibition, book(s), etc.

i’ll post here as soon as i know… but until then, i at least wanted to share some of my favorites…

my new buddy finn

okay, so i don’t normally photograph a lot of babies.

i mean, it happens from time to time, but that’s usually because it’s a friend’s or family member’s.

it’s just not typically what i do.

but my sister just had her third while we were working in wyoming and colorado last week…

so when we got home, we had a new friend to meet!

finn.  and this little guy already has more hair than me… not cool buddy.

we had a blast getting some fun shots with our newest nephew.

i just had to share the joy!  we’re so happy to have you in this world little finn…

barefoot and pregnant

for the new year, like a lot of artists i’m sure, i decided to push myself to grow creatively.

my first order of business; start concepting and creating new images.  no client necessary.

just bring an idea to life…  for the sake of growth and self-expression.

novel idea, huh?  funny how simple things like that can get lost at times when you do for a living the very thing that you love…

my goal is to produce at least two new images per month.  and here’s the first.
