i have had the pleasure of working on a project this year to honor the 125 anniversary of the state fair of texas.
we’re not exactly sure what the final outcome of this project will be… exhibition, book(s), etc.
i’ll post here as soon as i know… but until then, i at least wanted to share some of my favorites…
Reblogged this on cornucopia.
thanks cornucopia! i enjoyed perusing your blog as well… keep it up!
Great Photos! I feel that Fair Park is one of the great unerused treasures in Dallas. There’s the fantastic Art Deco architecture plus the open spaces (when the fair isn’t in session) so close to downtown. The City should word on how to get the best of of the area all year round.
you are absolutely right. i think i’ll need to go this spring to shoot just the architecture… some of the best art deco around. thanks for the comment!
Oh my gosh – the food, and that lamb and all the lights. These are excellent – go you!
haha, thanks Cassie! it was an incredibly fun project. i’m looking forward to going back this year too!!
