In 2005, when I quit my job at the newspaper in Pinedale, I got an offer at the paper in Sheridan. I decided to go take a look and interview. It gave me the opportunity to see a bit more of my new home state, and I welcomed any chance for a road trip.
In those few days back and forth, I was exposed to the Big Horn Mountains of northeast Wyoming. I hadn’t a clue that it would be 15 years before Id really get the chance to explore them a bit more.
So here we are, camped up high on a pass with gorgeous mountain views all around us, wildflowers in bloom, hiking and exploring the Big Horns… finally.
Here is what I have seen so far… tons more to explore!
